Approved by YOU!

We are often asked by clients to recommend other pet-related businesses.  While we do our best to be aware of what is available in the area, we’ve found over the years that there are no better references than those provided by our own clients and patients, so we ask you to use this page to refer others to your favorite provider of pet-related services and products.  We welcome members of our online community to post honest reviews of local businesses providing anciallary services such as grooming, training, boarding, pet sitting, etc.  You can also feel free to post about other pet-related events and activities:  Have a favorite dog park, cat toy, or pet-friendly travel destination?  Tell everyone about it!  While positive reviews are most appreciated, reviews will not be moderated provided that they subscribe to basic netiquette and the following guidelines:

  1. Reviews are the opinion of their authors; these opinions are not necessarily shared by Priority Pet Hospital, its owners, or employees.
  2. You need not be a client of Priority Pet Hosital or subscribed to our blog to participate; you should, however, be a pet lover living in Gilbert or adjacent parts of the East Valley.
  3. Please post reviews of local services or products available locally; we’re particularly fond of reviews of local small business. Pet-friendly places may be located anywhere.
  4. Please start your review with a simple one-line description of the service you are reviewing; general terms (Groomer, Dog Trainer, Superstition Mountain Hike, etc.) are easier for users to scan while looking for a recommendation. Enclosing the first line between the HTML tags <b> and </b> will make the topic bold and even more useful to readers (for example: if you type <b>Dog Groomer</b>, readers will see Dog Groomer).
  5. No commercial advertising—this page is for client/customer reviews only!  Posts made by business owners or employees, as well as those appearing to be solicited by business owners or employees will be moderated.

  1. Pet Photographer

Shelly Fields has become Priority Pet Hospital’s “official pet photographer.” Shelly is patient when it comes to both human and animal subjects, she has a great eye for composition, and she will even bring her studio right to you. Her expertise with Photoshop also allows her to seamlessly insert that one shy pet you may have into the family portrait! Stop by the hospital or visit her website to see examples of Shelly’s work.

  2. Dog Smoothies

There is no place better than In the RAW for dog smoothies. They’re great for washing down a Mutt Muffin after a walk around the lake at the Farm Bureau building. The staff is very nice, and they greet every canine guest with a tall bowl full of ice water. Your people can get fresh juice and locally-roasted coffee while you hang out on the shady patio; tell them about In the RAW, located on the Southeast corner of Higley and Elliot.

  3. CAT GROOMER

Mostly Cats is meant primarily for cats to have a comfortable place to be groomed without the stress of having dogs around. It is located on 1 N Cottonwood Dr., which is just east of Gilbert Rd. off of Elliot. The owner is Patty Kolk. She was fantastic with my cat, and she was very friendly and helpful. I could tell my cat wasn’t nearly as stressed when I came to pick him up as he has been when I’ve taken him to other larger commercial pet groomer facilities. I would definately recommend this place to other cat owners. Her phone numbers are:

    (480) 558-4375 and (480) 205-5169
